HOW IT ALL STARTED
A love for memorable celebrations.
I’ve lived in Missoula for over 25 years, and somewhere along the way I noticed something: it was getting harder for local parents to find unique, memorable birthday ideas for their kids — especially as they got older. Around the same time, I kept seeing businesses in other parts of the country offering themed sleepover parties, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much Missoula families would love something like that here.
Then I saw a video of someone setting up a bubble dome for a party, and I was hooked — being in a clear dome, surrounded by a hundred swirling balloons, looked so magical, and I hadn’t seen anyone else in our area offering it. While I was researching bubble domes, I stumbled onto something else entirely: modern white bounce castles being used at weddings, with brides and grooms bouncing around in their wedding attire for the most incredible photos. I couldn’t pick just one idea, so I didn’t. I started with all of it, and My Dream Party has kept growing from there — now including balloon installs, backdrops, flower walls, outdoor movie nights, and so much more.

Why I Love What I Do
There’s nothing quite like watching a client’s vision come together — that moment when everything’s set up and their face lights up. I especially love it when a wedding guest who bounced around in one of our castles calls me up months later to book one for their own event, or when a family books a themed sleepover again for another child, another birthday, or “just because.” My goal is always to make the planning easy so the parent or client gets all the credit for throwing an unforgettable party — with barely any of the work.
Missoula Is Home
Beyond the business, I’ve spent years working as a nanny for several wonderful families here. Missoula is a community I’m proud to be part of, and I’m excited to keep growing My Dream Party right alongside it.
